For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to creating—but it wasn’t until I let myself fully embrace it that my work began to flourish. I spent years exploring different techniques, refining my craft, and searching for a process that felt right. That search led me to metal clay, a material that allows me to sculpt with my hands, shaping each piece intuitively before fire transforms it into solid bronze.
I create from my home studio in New Jersey, just miles from the ocean, where the shifting tides and rhythms of nature influence my work. I am inspired by the imperfect beauty of the natural world, by ancient artifacts that feel like they’ve just been unearthed, and by the way metal changes over time—how it holds onto touch, memory, and experience.
Each piece is one of a kind, shaped by hand and meant to be worn, lived in, and carried through life. Studio Emmylou exists in that space between past and present, permanence and transformation, where every creation tells a quiet, enduring story.
